Arnold Hyman served in New Guinea in WWII. He was repatriated to Heidelberg hospital and then home to Sydney.
He rarely spoke of his service in New Guinea despite occasional questions by his children.
He married Leah Lazer in 1946 and they had 4 children. They were blessed with 11 grandchildren.
He worked mostly in sales during his working life.
Arnold passed away at the age of 53 in 1974.
